The government of Canada introduces ICCRC in July 2011 to supervise Canadian citizenship, immigration and international students advising services. Licensed service providers of these managerial professionals are known as regulated international student immigration advisors and regulated Canadian immigration consultants or RCICs. ICCR manages nearly 3600 regulated Canadian immigration consultants in Canada as well as abroad. It is a regulatory body that protects the interest of the customers of the immigration programs. Importance ICCRC aims to protect the people who have settled in another country through immigration programs. They look after the benefits to be provided by the immigration services and the use of authorized immigration representatives. ICCRC secure the interest of the service seeker by:
ICCRC's current federal instruction comes from the immigration, and refugee protection act (IRPA) and the citizenship act which involves anyone as long as he is having Canadian immigration or citizenship guidance or representative for an exchange of money or order is regarded as the member of ICCRC, the chamber des notaries du Quebec or the Canadian law society. If an individual provides services of Canadian citizenship or immigration abroad are exposed to Canadian laws and ethics even though they live outside Canada. ICCRC looks after the fair, effective and transparent regulation of the profession of the Canadian immigration consultant.
